Speakers' Corner Preview

A live preview of the event on June 11

It was such an honor to be invited to appear on Speakers’ Corner, a great series from Projectkin that gives genealogists, family historians, and other storytellers a platform to discuss their work. Thank you to Jennifer Jones and Barbara at Projectkin for hosting the program and creating such a great environment here on Substack.

The main event takes place this Thursday, June 11, but yesterday we hopped on Substack Live to give a taster of the conversations yet to come. Our discussions will revolve around Place—what it means to us and how it affects our research. It’s so fun to share my research on “the House family” with my fellow enthusiasts—and to hear about the experiences that inspired Jill Swenson’s new book.

If you’re interested in hearing more, you can sign up to attend the live event here or find the recording (available soon after) on the Speakers’ Corner page.
